One of the greatest challenges in signal transmission is the "skin effect," where high frequencies tend to travel on the surface of the conductor while low frequencies travel deeper. This can create phase errors and uneven frequency response. Supra EFF solves this by building the conductor as a tube around a plastic core. This forces all frequencies to travel within the same cross-sectional area, eliminating the skin effect and delivering completely transparent sound.
The conductors in the EFF-I consist of silver-plated oxygen-free copper (OFC). Silver is one of the world's best conductors, especially for high frequencies, contributing to the cable's fantastic treble reproduction and transient response. The PE insulation ensures ultra-low capacitance, allowing the signal to travel quickly without being "held back."
By utilizing the XLR standard, the signal is sent in both phase and anti-phase. Any interference picked up along the way is effectively cancelled out when the signal reaches the receiver.
