Supra Rondo 4x4.0 is a high-quality, tin-plated speaker cable manufactured in Ljungskile, Sweden. Featuring four conductors spun in a unique "Star Quad" configuration, it delivers a dynamic and transparent sound with extremely low inductance. Supra Rondo is built on a construction where the four conductors are spun with a very short pitch. This is a more advanced and costly manufacturing method than standard twisting, but the result is superior. Through "Star Quad" wiring (where opposing conductors are joined for single-wire use), magnetic fields are canceled out extremely effectively. This results in a cable with low inductance and high immunity to external interference, leading to a quieter background and faster musical transients.
Supra uses tin-plated OFC copper in its premium cables. Tin has higher resistance than copper, forcing the signal to stay inside the pure copper core instead of jumping between strands on the surface (which otherwise creates timing errors and distortion). Additionally, the tin acts as an effective shield against oxidation, ensuring your cable performs as well in ten years as it does today.
