The heart of the 99.36 FLR is its drivers. The tweeter is a ribbon tweeter that delivers extremely fast and detailed reproduction without being harsh. The midrange is handled by a 6.5-inch driver from the prestigious SEAS Excel series, with an aluminum cone that provides extremely low distortion. In the bass, a long-throw SEAS driver works to provide deep and powerful bass.
Few speakers offer the same possibilities to adapt the sound to the room as the XTZ 99.36. On the back, there are jumpers that allow you to adjust the level of both bass and treble in several steps. Additionally, foam plugs are included for the bass reflex ports, allowing you to choose between a ported or closed box to optimize bass reproduction for your specific listening environment.
The terminal on the back is of the highest quality and gold-plated. It is prepared for tri-wiring or tri-amping, giving the enthusiast the opportunity to drive treble, midrange, and bass with separate amplifiers for absolute maximum performance.

I have had these 99.36 FLR speakers for a few years now they are excellent! They sing beautifully with whatever I play through them! I paired them with a couple of subwoofers not that they need added bass but WOW! The subs allow the mid range and treble to float in the air unconstrained ! They are beautiful to look at too! The 99.36 is a great all rounder speaker for the money its great Owned 99.36 for a year and then upgraded to Monitor Audio Platinum PL200 ...the difference is not that big but Monitor Audio is a LOT more expensive!
